Intermission Youth Theatre in West London are staging a version of Romeo and Juliet called Love Me to Death. Production manager Cecilia Segar asked me to shoot head shots of the cast and we met at the theatre which is just behind Harrods in West London. The white backdrop is the trusty Lastolite Hi-Lite lit by a Bowens strobe. A second strobe lit a Bowens soft box and fill light was added by a Tri grip. Used a Canon 100mm lens which is remarkable given its price. At f4 it seems as good as anything in its class. The actors were fascinating. Some were extremely nervous, others were keen to have their 'good side' captured. A great experience anyway and another little step in learning how studio lights work.
